You Help?
First Christian
Church has an important ministry to individuals of all ages who need a ride
to church. We are seeking 4 more van drivers in order to have 8 drivers total.
That gives all drivers the flexibility to only have to drive one Sunday every
two months. If you are free between 8:30am – 9:20 am and from 11:45-12:30 on
any Sunday mornings and would like to be in the van driver pool, please
notify the church office so Membership Department can contact you about the
qualifications, schedule and participants in this important ministry.

WHO ARE WE? FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH PONCA CITY, OK The Bible is the basis of our faith and we are open toward diverse personal interpretations. We accept the responsibility of each of us to interpret scripture in their walk with Christ. We are thinking, seeking Christians who are personally responsible for our own spiritual growth and for nurturing the spiritual growth in others. We believe “all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God”, but we believe that grace is a better guide than fear, shame and guilt. We are accepting of others with various Christian beliefs affirming unity in essentials, liberty in opinions, grace in all things. Women and men have equal access and are encouraged to take part in all church leadership positions – lay and ordained. We support worldwide missions and we support the community we live in through Friendship Feast, Child Development Center and other community services agencies. We strive to be open and accepting of all persons. All who profess Christ as Savior are welcomed in membership. |
