Disciples Store Needs

            Isn’t it wonderful to see so many children in church?  Disciples Store seems to be a good incentive for attendance.  If you would like to help contribute items for the store you may bring items to the church office.  We have decided to not have candy in the store, but items we suggest are Legos, Matchbox and Hot Wheels cars, games, watches, nail polish, dolls, etc.  The Dollar Stores are a great place to shop for most of these items.  We do not need books at this time.  Thanks to everyone who can help with this.

 

 

 

 

Christian Education provides opportunity for faith development and Bible studies for children, youth and adults through a variety of Sunday School Classes.
 
Children’s Sunday School
 
Nursery– An inviting, caring, safe environment for our youngest church members up to age 2 during both worship services and the Sunday School hour.
 
Pre-School – For 2 through 4 year olds to experience active Bible stories, crafts and games.  Guided play and light snacks are provided during the extended session during the 10:30 worship.
 
Kindergarten– Active hands-on bible learning and activities for 5 through 6 years olds.  Children have a worship service designed just for them during the 10:30 worship.
 
Primary Department – have interactive Bible stores, games, and crafts.

2nd & 3rd graders 

4th & 5th graders

 
Junior Department

6th, 7th & 8th graders explore the Bible and how to apply
Christian values to their daily lives through skits, Bible games and activities. 

Juniors help others through service projects.
 
Youth Sunday School - study the Bible and how it relates to their life.  Adult leaders guide discussions on life issues.

 

We are blessed with outstanding teachers in all our children’s classes.

Children’s Choir – A mid-week program for children ages 5 and older. It meets Wednesday after school from 3:30-5:30. It consists of:

·         a healthy snack,

·        singing and music instruction

·        supervised play activities.
